Graduated Culture was created to keep people current on music, gear, sports, culture, and news from a fresh perspective.
Instead of flooding the site with anything and everything each day, we, as the Editors, hope to provide the reader with more selective content that we feel people need, should, or would like to know about. In short, quality over quantity.
Graduated Culture really comes from the point that we are at in our lives. Having recently graduated from college in California, we are now just starting our careers in the professional world. We want to provide “culture” that will specifically relate to other recent graduates and young professionals. While most of the posts will have this tint, we also feel that there is something for everyone and many of our posts appeal to a broad audience.
There will be a large focus on music, as it is very important to us, but we also want to supplement this with great stories, articles, gear, and news. Without a doubt, we like to party and having the right music is essential. Unlike straight music blogs, we do not want to post a volume of songs that will overwhelm the listener. Instead, we will provide the upper echelon of new music that we find.
